Online & Phone Advice Service
Sometimes you talk to too many pet owners. You have read too many books and watched too many television programmes. All of the advice seems to have left you more confused than ever in dealing with your problem pet. But you only need some advice, not a full consultation.
Jeri Omlo, BSc. MEd. (ABTC) Registered Clinical Animal Behaviourist now offers the pet owning public, professional advice via email or a pre-booked telephone consultation. Because you will be speaking to a highly qualified and experienced Behaviourist, there is a nominal charge for this service.
What sort of advice can be offered?
This service is for training issues that do not require a veterinary referral. For example:
- How can I mentally simulate my dog when I am at work?
- What is the best way to house train my rescue dog?
- Are indoor kennels really helpful?
- My cat likes to stay indoors. Is that OK?
- Is a harness or head collar better for my dog?
Any advice can be discussed however serious issues like aggression towards the owner, resource guarding, aggression towards other dogs, compulsive behaviours to name a few must have an in-depth consultation to establish cause and effect.
You can email Jeri giving all of your details with a description of the problem or advice that you require. At this stage, fees are confirmed and how payment is to be sent discussed. Once the payment is received, we will arrange for either an email to be sent to you or will make arrangements for a telephone advice session at a date and time that is convenient for you. These sessions will be followed up with training and information sheets as appropriate.
